Type: Bug

Symptoms

In some cases customers that have upgraded to Content Studio 4.0 build 1010 experience that ASP code, that worked earlier, generates a syntax error after opening an saving the document. Code that are contained within the Insert script component is not affected.

Cause

This error is caused by a new feature in the Webitor which ensures that all HTML-attributes are surrounded by double quotation marks. This occurs only in inline ASP-block (starting with <%) where the code starts directly without a white space characters and occurs only in dynamic HTML-code written by Response.Write.

Resolution

Upgrade to a later version or download a fix below. This fix contains 2 html-files one for the English and one for the Swedish version of the product. Copy these files to the admin site files and replace the older versions.
NOTE. This fix may only be installed on Content Studio version 4.0 build 1010.

The fix can be obtained from Teknikhuset.

Alternately you can add a white space character (ex. space or new line) at the very beginning of the ASP block.

Status

This problem will be fixed in build 1011 of the product.
